and I remember once being in Chester with him and another famous teacher of his era (lets just say PB), We were having a drink (of course) after a days compertition and in the hotel Ballroom was a small tea dance, a lady came up and asked if the gentalmen danced to which Eric replied us two no sorry four left feet (If she only new)
